Considered in 2014 by CNN one of Europe’s best new boutique hotels, Praia Verde Boutique Hotel was the first renovated hotel under the management of DHM – Discovery Hotel Management.
After a complete makeover in terms of architecture and design, Praia Verde is the interpretation of a new concept in the Portuguese hotel industry. The suites are comfortable and include neutral colors and much light. Led by Chef David Domingues, this is a cuisine forged in fire – in the wood oven or at the Josper, cooked in clay pots or in the iron – where the products of the sea and the Ria Formosa meet the products of the Algarvian barrocal.
At À TERRA we want you to try the best local products – coming directly from our vegetable garden, local producers with whom we work every day, or from the Vila Real de Santo António fish market – and discover the gastronomic traditions of this particular region. A cuisine made of an explosion of aromas, textures and flavors, but also of stories and sensations: the stories of the Algarve tradition and its products – figs, oranges, the bitter taste of lemon, the aromatic herbs, olives, the local cheeses and sweets, the dry fruits, salt flower, the algarvian meats but also the fresh fish and the seafood.
